For many of us, a foundation for faith, what we believe about God and religion was built during our childhood as a set of beliefs handed to us by a parent, a teacher, or a pastor. For many, that foundation was not made our own, and as we grew, life circumstances and experiences chipped away or cracked the foundation. In this series, we want to rebuild a foundation of faith – one that can stand against the pressures and storms of life, one that you can build your life upon.
My Response Today:
-I am asking God to expose any cracks in my spiritual foundation and help me address any gaps from my childhood.
-I repent (change of mind) for assuming God is uninterested in me knowing Him.
-Each day this week, I will invite the Holy Spirit to help me grow in my understanding of Jesus.
-I’d like to hear more about Jesus.
Pastor Rick Lorimer gives an Easter Weekend message out of John 3.
